My childhood toys

This week was a fun one strolling down memory lane :)

I found a box that was marked "Kristy - childhood - KEEP!"

I decided to take a look and look what I found........

My Magic box!! I loved this as a child, I remember hours on hours entertaining my family with my magic tricks! I am sure they guessed how I did it after like the first time, but I can remember them sitting for hours watching me!! Thanks family!!

Ok, who can remember what all these are?
There are 3 different toys here!

One of my favorite games ever as a kid!! I can remember Mum and I playing this over and over again!! We played it so much, that Mum finally laminated the characters so they wouldn't rip!

....and finally....what girl doesn't love barbies!!!

My family will get a good laugh at this photo....
I am pretty sure, this was "Haggitha Hagfish's cousin, Harriet" :-)

Thanks for joining me down memory lane!

  1. HA HA HA....Oh what fun!! Now aren't you glad I kept that stuff... The Magic box - aww, you were so proud of your tricks! Of course, I get the trolls (btw, if ever you don't want them, I DO!! Please don't give them away) but, for the life of me, I don't remember what the other two are called...rats. Do you remember when we first got Shirt Tales? Wasn't it when you went into the hospital? I'm sure it was and we played it and played it over and over. Good ole Harriet! Ha ha. Where is Haggith then? Isn't she in your box?

Great photos and great memories!! Good job, KB!

  2. LOL!!

Mum, the other two, I can't remember what the middle one (the yellow one) is, but the other two are "Keepers", the father and son!!

Yes, we did get the shirt tales game in the hospital, we played it so much!!

Regarding Haggith, she was in the box, but for some reason, didn't have any clothes on, so I just didn't feel it was right to take her picture!!!

    Love you!!

  4. Rats...now I want to delete and correct my whole comment! But at least we both spelled it wrong - lol. Why on earth would we both have dropped the "a"? ha ha... Well, at least we know she is still alive - in pretty bad shape though, as I remember....

  5. LMBO KB...awesome photos!!

Ok, I actually felt like crying when I saw your magic box your keepers and the card game...it was like a flood of memories from our childhood came back, I can't believe how old we are getting:( There are days when I just want to go back.....

When I saw the last "keeper" on the end I was SURE that it was mine...but then I realized that you probably just used to let me play with him all the time, because I remember him being one of my favorites too! There was a catchy song from the commercial..do you remember it??

Something like.. "something something..what's inside that keeper??" HAhA. I want to say "jeepers creepers"..but I don't think that's right, lol

Poor Harriet and Haggatha, it can't be easy being social outcasts...lol. At least she lived to tell about it, bahahahaha!

    Love you!

LOL thinking of taking my keeper! Yeah, I am pretty sure we played with them lots, remember Tan had a red one too. Good job on remembering the song, I couldn't remember all of it either, but I did have that, "jeepers, creepers, what's inside those keepers" - that's all I remembered!!!

I couldn't believe too that Mum had put Harriet and Haggatha in there...such good memories...we sure had fun growing up!! Are we really that old now?! :-P

    Love you lots sister!!
