Week #9 - Friends

Sorry I am late posting...but my laptop died a couple of weeks ago and so with that I lost my files :(

My brother-in-law Tom was able to save my hard drive, but of course because I haven't had my laptop I have no idea what the photo challenges will be. That is why I asked Mum to come up with the challenge last week and now I just came up with one for this week.

I got my new laptop today, and so hopefully soon, I can get my old files transferred to this laptop, then I can get the challenges again.

But for now....I was thinking how blessed I am to have such great friends, and so with that being said, this week's challenge is: Friends

Week #8 - Sun!

Okay, I don't know what your weather is like at home, but this week let's go for some sun photos! They can be the sun reflected on the snow or frost on your window, sunrises, sunsets...let's see some sun!!

Romance...

I thought I'd be the last posting here! During our week's vacation south, I looked for shots of romance and this is what I came up with!

This one couple was smooching behind Mandy and Levi and, as I had my telephoto lens on, I thought I'd just shift the camera a little to the left ;)

Things that make me smile :)

Here are just a few things.....

#1 - Fries Supreme from Taco Bell!

(As Red Deer doesn't have a Taco Bell, I only get it when we go to Edmonton or Lethbridge!)

#2 - These three make me smile! Bob, Brent and Mackenzie

When Bob and I were house sitting/kid sitting this past week, we took the kids to Build-a-Bear and all three of them (yes, Bob too) got the same one and just got different clothes.

#3 - My Running Class!! It's a ten week class, hard to believe we are half way done already!

#4 - When God speaks to me :)

I was having a down day the other day, and questioning God on some things, and all of the sudden I looked up at work and saw this picture, it was like the verse was written just for me!

I just want to go on record as saying that if anyone had an excuse to be not posting, it's me and yet I find myself standing alone here...is anyone out there?? Anyone?

Sorry, again, I am late in posting the challenge!! But the truth is, I wanted to think of something creative this week...I wanted something that will make me want to pick up the camera :)

I did it!

Believe it or not, I found snow! I was watching Rescuers Down Under with Josiah on TV (boy, is it different when dubbed in Spanish...ha ha) and in the closing scene, it showed them in a lovely snowfall. I said, "Snow!", and Mandy ran for my camera, yelling, "Quick, get it!" LOL...here you go...this is the closest I'm coming to snow this week:
