Good luck and I look forward to seeing your photos!

Kids in Africa

Here I am, posting late, but I totally forgot what the topic was... so, as I am REALLY homesick of Africa, I decided to share some photos with children I met just about a year ago.

Two girls I met during kids ministry in East London, South Africa

Special Children in my life

I decided this week to show you the special children in my life, my nieces and nephews! I also decided that I would be in the pictures with them as I don't think I have many pictures of us together. I love these children so much and am so blessed to be Aunty Kristy to the cutest kids in the world. I also should note, that I did not take the pictures this week, as I was in them, I had someone else take them :-)

My niece, Kiera (6)

My nieces, Adriana (14), Erilyn (10), Amelie (7), Isabella (3), and Sophia (1)
along with my nephew, Kellen (5)

My nephews, Josiah (3) and Levi (1)

See how blessed I am!!!

My Reflection

I really wasn't sure what to do this week...this is all I could think of. It's a reflection of me, sitting in my car :)

Reflections around the house...

View in the side mirror on our brand-new, hunking-cute, Hyundai Tucson

HOME forwards and backwards (yet it reads the same both ways!)

Our sunroom windows reflected in my old Westminster clock

Have a great weekend everyone! Lovies

But Wait! There's More!

Antiques Part II. Cause my mother in law has so many!
And I know that the second one may count as "Emotive" because some people are seriously creeped out by old dolls!

My mother in law posted on my Facebook :
Hey - you took a picture of the doll in my guest room! She is only about 65 years old, but she is wearing a dress that Greg's Grandmother made for his Aunt Phoebe when she was a baby...I think she was born about 1913.
I love it when photos have a back story!

Reflections

How handy that I happened to have taken this picture this week!

Landscapes

Wouldn't this be a wonderful thing to see every morning whilst sipping fresh coffee?

And - my in-laws have a neighbor who takes a most unusual approach to landscaping. This is just one part of it!

Architecture - totally late!

Alberta Landscapes

I went for a drive by myself today after I cleaned the church, trying to get a great photo of some Landscapes....then I remembered that my camera has a panorama setting. So I took these photos - hope you enjoy them!

The sun was shinning so bright and the wind was moving all the trees!

You can see the roof of my car on this one ;)

I love this one, with the bales of hay...truly Alberta!

Late, I know...

Week #23 - Landscapes

So, I wonder....is anyone going to join me this week?

This week's photo challenge is: Landscapes

I hope more of you join me this week!!

Architecture

Even though I am a little late, I'm pretty sure everyone is ok with it....

....seeing as I am the only one posting this week!!

I decided to take pictures of our church. I love the architecture of our church, especially with the cross on the top!

I love the picture below, it's taken of the side of our church, I noticed that there are crosses in the wall and in the window. I don't know if they did it intentionality when they built the building, but I thought it was cool.

Just a reminder that it's all about the gift that Jesus gave us on the cross!
