Week #13 - Planning

Well this might be a little difficult to photo, but I think it's time we do something that is challenging...after all, this is a photo challenge right??

I am already starting to think what I can take a picture of...hope I can find something :)

Spring in Alberta

Of course here in Alberta we know what our springs look like :)

This photo was taken on the first day of spring...I think it snowed a couple of centimeters!!

But....by the weekend, we were back to sunny skies and the snow started to disappear....

This is our gate...I thought it looked so pretty with all the snow around it.

Spring is in the air :)

Spring = daffodils ;)

Here are my signs of spring. As always, when the daffodils hit the stores, I am bringing them home to bring spring into our lives:



And here, I am thrilled to say, is proof that some of the 50 daffodil bulbs I planted last fall are coming up! Yay!

Week #12 - Spring

Well I think spring has started to sprung :)

This was a timely challenge because Floyd has been saying that he wants to vacuum under our bed, so I thought I'd put the camera on the floor and let it tell me what was under there... Here's what I found:


What do you think? There weren't the huge hairballs that we thought there might be, but it could use a vacuuming.

From there I moved into the hallway and put the camera down on the floor to see what was under the corner cupboard and I was saddened to see one of Madison's balls :-(


We sure do miss that puppy... It looks like this could need a bit of attention as well - quite a few cobwebs under there!

Week #11 - Underneath

Well Mum, once again, it looks like it's just the two of us :)

Veggies!

My new smoothie look - going green, thanks to you, Kristy! I get all the spinach I need without changing the taste of my yummy fruit/yogurt smoothie...

How to make a greek salad

First, start with some peppers

Cut up cucumber

Add cherry tomatoes

Don't forget the black olives!!

And last but not least, add some fetta cheese

Mix together, Epicure Greek Dressing, Red Wine Vinegar and Olive Oil

And now you have the finished product, serve and enjoy!!

SO YUMMY!!

Week #10 - Vegetables

First let me say...I got my new laptop last week!! YAHOO!!

So, I was able to transfer all my old files onto my new laptop so I got the file with our photo challenges :)

With that being said, this week's photo challenge is: Vegetables

Precious friends...

Such good friends, these two little brothers are. Whatever Josiah does, Levi imitates. I love to hear their chatter and laughter when they play together.

These dear sisters are such good friends... This trip I got to know them even more and am so blessed to have them in my life!

My awesome friends!!

Here is a picture of me and my awesome friends!! We decided it was time to get together, we always say we are going to, but never end up doing it. So, two weeks ago we went out one night just for an hour and a half, had a coffee and walked around the mall. We had so much fun - we decided to get together again this past week! This week, we went to the other mall in town and grabbed a coffee and walked around that mall. Now, we have to plan something for next week ;)

I am so blessed by these three ladies, whenever we get together, we spend so much time laughing, like belly aching laughing...so much fun!!

God knew I needed these three ladies in my life, and I am so blessed, I love them all!!
