Week #16 - Work

This week's photo challenge should be a fun and an easier one :)

This week's challenge is: Work

I am guessing the amount of hours we will spend in work this week, we should be at least able to get one good picture!! LOL

Excitement

Well I struggled all week on what to post a picture of...so, finally I decided and this is what you get :) (it's not as good as yours Mum!)

Bob and I are going away for a week in May and we have decided to go to Seattle as they have outlet shopping and some other things that sound exciting. I have been doing some googling to see what else there is to do, and we have heard from some friends on some of the exciting things to do while there.

So, here, is my picture, there is lots to do in Seattle so the excitement is building :) It will be so nice to get away just Bob and I.

Totally forgot to post!

Well, excitement reigned at our house this week as Floyd (Dad...LOL...) finally got his new truck - one that I've been wanting to get him for a long time!

Week #15 - Excitement

This made my day...

Well, Easter certainly didn't go as we'd planned it this year due to sickness in both Tanya's and our homes, so the egg hunt that I was going to photograph will have to wait for another day. However, about 20 minutes ago, my dear sweet hubbie brought this out to me...and although the chocolates will be savoured later on, the card and thought meant so much to me!

Good Friday

I know this may seem like a weird photo for Easter, but there is a short story behind it :)

On Friday morning, Good Friday, I decided to go for a run before church. I put my ipod on shuffle and half way through my run, I really couldn't believe it....out of all the chapters of the Bible and out of all the songs that I have on my ipod this chapter came on.

I was going to type out the chapter for you, but it's 56 verses, and that's a little long to write on here, so let's just say, this is the chapter where Luke accounts Jesus's trial, death and burial.

All I can say, is only God could have put that chapter on my ipod at that time, and it was a great way to start Good Friday - a reminder of what Jesus did for me.

As our Pastor said at the service, (and it stuck with me all day)

"What happened to Jesus, should have happened to me?"

All I can say is "Thank you Jesus - I am forever grateful!"

Originally it was suppose to be Fools, but I didn't like that idea...seeing as Easter is way more important then April Fools Day, so I decided to change the challenge.
